Research Interests

My research interests focus on the range of approaches that could lead to improvements in the delivery, outcomes, and research methods of empirically supported therapies for treatment of mood disorders, especially major depressive disorder. These include the use of alternative methods of treatment delivery, such as information technology, which can offer treatment access to underserved populations, and greater understanding decision-making of depressed individuals, with the goal of improving decision-making both in people’s daily lives and as it relates to decisions regarding treatment.
